SQ5: How to reset the 'Service Due' reminder >

How does one reset the "service due" reminder?

I can't seem to find a way to do information technology in the MMI nor in OBDEleven. Don't tell me that later on 20 years, Audi still requires a dealer visit for this?

IDK if OBDEleven has a similar "reset", but with VAGCOM I just apply their SRI Reset feature. Another reason why I always tell people to go with VAGCOM vs. the other tools.

Get a RossTech VCDS cablevision and a laptop and you can reset the interval yourself. A VCDS cable is basically a required tool in your toolbox when owning an Audi these days.

Allows you to exercise and then much more than than just reset intervals though. Tin likewise scan for errors, clear errors, LOG diverse ECU values for troubleshooting, and alter parameters of but about everything. Don't like the seat belt dinger? Disable it! Don't want your daytime running lights to "wink" with your turn signal? Change information technology! Desire to roll your auto windows upwards and down via central-fob remote? You can enable that besides!

I�m well-nigh positive that information technology�s on the same page as the oil reset on OBDEleven. OBDEleven likewise allows you to do everything listed higher up. I don�t have access to my SQ5 right now but if yous need more help I tin get step by step instructions later today.

I did notice the Dashboard adaptations which has a "service reminder' toggle set to '1' (on) which I changed to '0' (off) only it didn't remove the notice.

On the plus side I figured out how to set the oil distance to 7500 instead of 15k and the service inspection interval to something like 70k and 700 days .. and I saw a few settings for "reset service inspection" but that claimed to not be supported.

Also ... found an OBDEleven app that was supposed to reset the service reminder. It didn't ... but it set up the next service mileage downward to 10000 ... grrr I could take done that.

I wonder if I need to bulldoze the auto for it to have effect ....

Typically when I reset the oil alter reminder you lot should exist able to reset the �oil service reset� and the �inspection service reset� accept you tried resetting both of those? Those are the just 2 things I reset at each service and never take the �service due� reminder come upward.

I can't reset the 'inspectino service reset'. Information technology says "non available". Merely I tin reset the oil change reminder.

I figure information technology out ... I think.

Going on retention hither ... might not have the verbal adaptation names listed hither.

There is an adaptation for "service reminder" and has two settings ... 0 = off, 1 = on. I had originally tried this, setting information technology to nada, but it didn't work. Then I tried a agglomeration of other stuff that didn't work.

There are too adaptations for "service reminder intervals" and another "miles since service". Setting these didn't work either.

And then I tried the app to 'inspection service reset' only that too didn't work; just it did set the "interval to next service" to 10000 (I had bumped information technology to 70k or something). I'g guessing it also changed the "distance since service".

Got in contact with OBDEleven support (which were VERY responsive!) and they refunded the credits for the app and suggested I try a couple other things. When I went back in to try those couple other things, on a whim I went back to "service reminder" accommodation and it was set up to "ii" !!! All I can think is that the App did this.

And so I gear up it to "0" and information technology worked.

What I'grand thinking, is that when I initially set it to "0", and did nothing else, information technology re-triggered. Thus, what I should take done, is to alter the "service reminder" and the "distance since service" at the same time.

I guess I'll discover out in 10000 how to exercise information technology in ane go ....

are you using the Android version? I accept the IOS version am trying to figure out how to reset my service reminder only nothing pops up in adaptations under dashboard.
